You can view your own actions in ‘My Actions, or check your team’s activity in ‘My Team Actions’.
- Actions that are late
- Actions that are upcoming
- Actions that have been completed
You can click on an action in ‘My Actions’ to view it in detail.
You will be able to view the:
- Target Date – Date the action should be (This date can be changed if necessary)
- Created Date – Date the action was created
- People – The users that have been assigned to complete the action
- Audit – The audit that the action is assigned to (You can click this to be directed to the question that has the action against it)
- Question – The question that has the action against it
- Section – The section of the Audit the action is in
Clicking the audit will direct you to the question that has the action assigned to it.
If a question is answered as ‘Needs Improvement’ or ‘Non-Conforming’, an action can be added against it. The below fields are what needs to be filled in before the action can be completed.
- Description: Describe the action.
- Root Cause: The factor that caused a nonconformance and should be permanently eliminated through process improvement.
- Containment Action: A quick fix that limit a problem’s extent and establish normal operations until the root cause is defined and permanent corrective actions is implemented.
- Corrective Action: Actions to remove the root cause and prevent a problem from happening again.
Once the action has been completed, click the complete button.
If the action needs to be reopened, you can do this by clicking the reopen button. This allows you to edit the action.
If you wish to delete the action, click the delete button.
Other features can be added to the action such as:
- Tags
- Comments
- Attachments
To view the history log, click the button shown below. This will allow you to view the edit history, as well as seeing who did the editing and when they did it.
The action can also be exported as a PDF by clicking the ‘Export PDF’ button.
