To internally calibrate an asset click on the green ‘Calibrate’ button (B above) on the same line as the asset. The following window will appear. If you want to search for particular assets to use in the calibration, click on the ‘Search’ button (A). If you only wish to see Reference Equipment or only calibrated assets tick the relevant box(s) (B). N.B An asset is selected to be reference equipment in ‘Assets’.
Select the asset from the ‘assets’ list . A list of assets in the group will be displayed which, in this case, allows you to select the particular slip you want to use. Once selected the asset(s) will move into the ‘Allocated’ list.
You can add/remove equipment from each column by clicking on the green/red radio buttons (F above). Click on the red ‘X’ to remove the asset and click on the green ‘+’ to add it. A green tick under ‘Assets’ means it has been selected.
Click on the blue ‘<’ (G above) to move on to input ‘As Found’ results or ‘As Left’ results. N.B you do not have to enter results in ‘As Found’ if you do not wish to record the condition of the asset before calibration.
The result sheet that you fill in is the one chosen from ‘Assets’.
eg ‘Test Result 3’.
There are 2 ways you can input the results. Enter the results on the screen eg (C below).
Or click on ‘Template’ (A). This will open a blank excel spreadsheet of the chosen result sheet. Here you can fill in the results, save then and then click on ‘Upload’ (B) which will upload the results and will be populated in the window below.
You can then choose the status of the asset after the calibration by clicking on (D above) and choosing from the dropdown list which is customisable in ‘Settings’ ‘Custom Fields’ ‘Calibration Status’.
Once all the data has been input and selected click on ‘Calibrate’ (E above).
