To start creating reports, you will need to upload the data you wish to analyse. The ‘Data’ section allows you to upload data in a CSV file.
To create a new dataset, click ‘+Add’.
Create a name eg ‘WIP’’ and upload an image for your dataset in the box below.
Upload your data in the box shown below. The file must be in a CSV (comma-separated values) file type.
A progress bar will inform you of the upload status. Large files may take over a minute to upload.
When the progress bar reaches 100%, the upload is complete. You can see a preview of your data below in ‘Data’.
To see all of the data you have just uploaded, click the expand button
Fields
Once your data has uploaded, you will be able to view all of the Fields that have been generated from your data set. The data type is displayed for each field.
If you want to add a new field click ‘+Add. A new column will appear at the bottom of the list.
Key Field
To make a field a ‘Key Field’ click the Key icon.
This will then open up settings to the right. Toggle the ‘Is Key’ switch.
Is Key: If enabled then this field will be a Key Field. This means the field is unique.
Title: Name of the Field. This can be edited.
Type: This will show the data type for the field, for example ‘Text’, ‘Integer’, ‘Float’.
Enabled: If you no longer need the field then disable it.
