Creating a Certificate of Conformity
Certificate of Conformity documents are created within the same module as deliveries; minor changes to the detail required on the print will be the only adjustments required.
C of C Overall Notes
Entering notes within the C of C Overall Notes field will display at the bottom of the last entry on the Certificate of Conformity.
Certificate of Conformity Notes
Entering notes within the C of C Notes will put the notes against the highlighted line only.
The Notes buttons in both instances can also be used to add notes, a popup window will open.
Traceability
Traceability can be added or taken away from all Certificate of Conformity records, a parameter can be set to include traceability records on all certificate of conformities. If this is not set it is possible to manually include them by using the Auto Trace button.
Traceability records are filtered by Materials, Parts, Tooling and Subcontract; when traceability is automatically added these can be removed by selecting the button. The following popup will appear confirming the removal of the records.
Note: the record still remains it is just not shown on the Certificate of Conformity.
Swapping Batch Numbers
Within the traceability window it is possible to swap the batch number used on the Certificate of Conformity; this can be the batch number issued internally by Tricorn or the supplier batch number issued during the Goods Inwards process.
If the Tricorn internal batch number is to be used the Internal Batch No will be ticked otherwise the batch number assigned at Goods Inwards will apply. Use the Swap Batch Numbers to activate.
