It is possible to note customer / supplier / internal communications about a part within the system to allow other users to see the latest developments in any relationship or discussion.
Navigate to Data⇒Production⇒Part
Locate the part you wish to add notes to, using the Search function if required. Double click or click the edit icon to open the part record.
Click on the Communication tab.
Here you can view existing notes or create a new one by clicking on the New Note button.
Enter your note into the popup window.
Then click the Save button.
Your note will now be listed with the author and the date and time it was entered. Click Save to save the changes.
