Release V919.37 – 26th August 2022

Introduction

Updated versions of our ERP systems have been released. The purpose of this document is to present an overview of the new developments included within the release.

Major Developments

1.    Replace Release Approvals

A ‘Replace’ button has been added on Data=>Quality=>Release Approval, to allow the selected release approval to replace one or more release approvals as the defaults on customer, suppliers and/or parts. Once replaced, the system provides lists of all live jobs, live sales orders & live quotations that use the replaced release approval(s) so that decisions can be made about replacing these individually.

2.    Visual Stock, Tooling & Part Location added to menu options

The Visual Stock Location, Visual Tooling Location & Visual Part Location screens are now available to activate for all users on Data=>HR=>User Role.

Visual Stock Location displays all GINs within their current location, allowing filtering by GIN number or Stock Code, movement between locations using drag-and-drop and drill-down into the GIN details by right clicking:

Visual Part Location displays all jobs within their current location, allowing filtering by part number or status movement between locations using drag-and-drop and drill-down into the job details by right clicking:

Visual Tooling Location displays all tools within their current location, allowing filtering by tool name or tool category and drill-down into the tool details by right clicking:

3.    Improvements to Supplier RFQs

It is now possible to remove suppliers from Supplier RFQs if the RFQ status is ‘Request Created’. Improvements have also been made on the RFQ Items tab, where ‘Send RFQ’ will be ticked by default for all items added to the RFQ, and the user can untick individual suppliers as required.

4.    Improvements to Route construction

Rearranging operations within routes has been simplified & improved.

A single row of action buttons at the top of the route now control the movement of the selected operation. An additional new button allows operations to be moved to any step in the route without the need to move one step at a time:

5.    Purchase Requisition History

A tick box called ‘Show Purchased’ has been added to Network=>Purchasing=>Purchase Requisition List to allow users to view historical purchase requests. A ‘Print Select’ button has also been added to allow users to print off details of selected purchase requisitions if they require a physical ‘sign off’ before purchasing.

  • Total estimated hours added per quantity break on Quotation estimates
  • Changes to start dates & promise dates now flow down from Sales Orders & jobs to associated child jobs
  • Sales order item created date filter added to Job report
  • Jobs can now be filtered by job number when adding to Planning Sheets
  • A Paperless template for customer specs can be added to Group Jobs
  • Pricing by weight function improved
  • FAIR requirements can now be amended on Sales Orders & Jobs
  • Additional FAIR types are now available for selection
  • Sales order item location pulls through to associated job
  • Improvements to MYOB integration
  • Improvements to number formatting on Jobs reports when exported to Excel
  • Saving on Data=>Production=>Part=>Route no longer saves & clears
  • Line/Machine dropdown on Data=>Production=>Part=>Route is now ordered alphabetically
  • Vertical scroll bar added on Customer Spec page
  • Horizontal scroll bar added on Group Job page
  • Option to ‘Hide Future Ops’ added to SFDC work-to-list
  • Improvements to Stock Return function on SFDC
  • Improvements to serial number tracking on sales order schedules
  • < Min & > Max have been added to Parts report filter
  • Min & Max Stock values have been added to Parts report export settings
  • Alert added to Data=>HR=>User Management to prevent duplicated Employee Numbers
  • Route version numbers now show on Part Unique Routes
  • Link to release notes updated
  • ‘Active Hours’ has been added as an Export option on the Time & Attendance report to show the total numbers of hours each user is clocked onto operations during the selected period
  • System optimisation
  • Amendments to crystal view fields:
    • CR_Jobs_Reject has been updated
  • Various template, report & bug fixes
