Release V899.34 – 18th February 2022

Introduction

Updated versions of our ERP systems have been released. The purpose of this document is to present an overview of the new developments included within the release.

If you have any feedback about our software products, please get in touch at support@fitfactory.com. Many of the features added to the products are as a result of ideas and inputs from our customers and partners.

Major Developments

1.    Part Serialisation

For some companies serial numbers must be tracked for every single part. DNA now has an option for part serialisation to be mandatory, set up in customisation. The system will then check that the number of serial numbers is equal to the part quantity throughout the system. A warning message will appear on the docket, sales order item, job, job split and reject pages on both DNA & the SFDC if the quantities do not match.

The system will also allow the selection of serial numbers when performing actions on part of a job (e.g recording progress and rejections) both in DNA & on SFDC. Please contact support for training if required.

2.    SFDC Improvements

  • Customer specification and related documents can now be accessed on the SFDC for Group Jobs.
  • Written instructions added to routes can now be viewed on the SFDC.
  • Where min/max times or temperatures are specified on a route operation, they will now be available to view on the SFDC

3.    Canadian Tax functionality

The system now has the option to operate under Canadian tax requirements. Please contact support for training if required.

4.    Addition of Primes & Aircraft Types

There is now a menu item Data=>Organisation=>Primes, where details of Primes/OEMs can be set up. These can now be selected on Customer Specifications, Release Approvals and Parts (on systems where customer specific parts is enabled).

On the ‘Aero’ versions of the system, there is now a menu item Data=>Production=>Aircraft, where details of Aircraft/Customer Programs can be set up. This can be selected on Parts.

5.    Improvements to Test Results

The system defaults to 5 x 1 cells on all test results, but it is now possible to set the default number of results rather than have to change them on every test on every job on DNA and the SFDC.
