Release V891.33 – 22nd December 2021

Introduction

Updated versions of our ERP systems have been released. The purpose of this document is to present an overview of the new developments included within the release.

If you have any feedback about our software products, please get in touch at support@fitfactory.com. Many of the features added to the products are as a result of ideas and inputs from our customers and partners.

Major Developments

1.    Adjusting allocated stock

It is now possible, for authorised users, to amend the quantities of GINs allocated to jobs via the SFDC. This is most useful in cases where quantity used is not known in advance, so any over allocation needs correction, e.g. allocating a whole tin of paint and then returning the remaining partial tin to stores.

Users who have permissions set up to allocate stock via the touchscreen will now see a yellow ‘Return’ button next to each GIN on the allocated stock SFDC panel. A popup window will show the details of the selected GIN & allow the user to enter the quantity they are returning to stock.

2.    Route revisions

The system now has the option to up-issue part specific routes. Users with the appropriate permission can select the ‘Up-issue’ button on Data=>Production=>Part=>Route. This will create a copy of the existing route, with the option to copy prices and process instructions too, and then archive the original route. The revision number will automatically increment by 1 and a record of the change is added to the log.

All existing jobs will keep the current revision of the route, although a popup report will show the existing Created, Processed, WIP and Rejected jobs that use the route, in case individual job route amendments are required. All new jobs will use the latest revision.

3.    Machine & tooling uploads

There are now the options to upload machine & tools using the downloadable templates. Machines can be uploaded in Data=>Production=>Line/Machine. Tooling masters can be uploaded in Data=>Production=>Tooling and then individual tools in Network=>Inventory=>Tooling.

4.    Accounts integrations improvements

The Sage Live Link option has been upgraded to work with Sage Line 50 2022 (V28) and a new option to export to Microsoft NAV has been added
