Release V868.30 – 30th April 2021

Introduction

Updated versions of our ERP systems have been released. The purpose of this document is to present an overview of the new developments included within this release.

If you have any feedback about our software products, please get in touch at support@fitfactory.com. Many of the features added to the products are as a result of ideas and inputs from our customers and partners.

Major Developments

1.       Improvements to Tooling & Tooling Service Orders

Tooling can now be given a calibration status when booked in, returned to stock from an operation or returned from external calibration/servicing supplier. Tools’ calibration status will automatically update to ‘Not Calibrated’ when their lifetime usage is reached.

When their status becomes ‘Not Calibrated’, tools will be added to a new Tooling Service Order Requisition List, from which tools can be send for external servicing, have internal calibration history added or be scrapped. Once a tool’s status is returned to ‘Calibrated’, the remaining lifetime will be reset, allowing the tool to return to circulation.

The calibration status will now be displayed on the tooling list within the inventory and the current location of allocated tooling now shows on Network=>Production=>Job Allocated Tooling.

2.       Improvements to Commercial / Customs Invoices

A user permission has been added to enable restriction of who can amend the requirement for a Commercial / Customs invoice at a delivery note level. Please tick the ‘User can amend customs invoice requirement’ on Data=>HR=>User Management=>User Permissions to allow users to make amendments.

It is now possible to add dimensions for each individual package included on a Commercial / Customs Invoice, use the green ‘+’ button to add each line. The Customs Invoice (template 1) has been amended to improve the layout and include these additional dimensions where required.

The Customer Order Number is now displayed on the Delivery Note list allowing for easier grouping on to Commercial / Customs invoices. Printed Commercial / Customs invoices are now hidden by default but can be show by unticking the filter box.

Despatch reports (Analysis=>Network=>Despatches) can now include delivery address and customs invoice requirements as export options, making it easier to see which deliveries require additional customs paperwork.
