Release V842.26 – 4th September 2020

Introduction

Updated versions of our ERP systems have been released. The purpose of this document is to present an overview of the new developments included within the release.

If you have any feedback about our software products, please get in touch at support@fitfactory.com. Many of the features added to the products are as a result of ideas and inputs from our customers and partners.

Major Developments

1. Fitfactory Rebrand
In July we announced the launch of our new Fitfactory brand, which builds on Valuechain’s acquisition of Tricorn systems in 2016. The new brand combines Tricorn’s 25 years of manufacturing & software experience, with the special process expertise of DNA, and the award-winning digital innovations of Valuechain to deliver state-of-the-art manufacturing software to help your business thrive.

Our purpose is to help our customers make their operations fitter, which will be critical as we enter a potentially protracted recession. Therefore, by digitalising streamlined and agile processes – supported by real-time business intelligence – you will be equipped to seize market opportunities, such as major on-shoring initiatives.

We remain committed to delivering, and indeed exceeding the standards you have come to expect from us over the previous 25 years of working with us. And by bringing these products and services together under one united organisation and brand, we will be better placed to help you thrive in the new world.

2. Tooling Service Order Template

A default purchase order template has been added to the system for when tools are send for service/calibrations. To make use of this functionality, navigate to Data => Production => Service to set up the service/calibration required and create the order at Network=> Tooling Purchasing => Tooling Service Order.
