Release Version V803.21 – 17th October 2019
Introduction
Updated versions of our ERP systems have been released. The purpose of this document is to present an overview of the new developments included within the release. Major Developments
1) Link to external delivery tracking websites
A link to your transport providers’ online tracking system can be added on Data=>Finance=> Transport. Using one of the custom fields on the delivery page, you can now enter the delivery tracking number and include it & the tracking URL on electronic delivery notes sent out, allowing your customer to trace their shipment straight from the delivery note. If you would like to take advantage of this, please contact support@valuechain.com to discuss the requirement amendments to your delivery note template.
2) Addition of ‘payable overtime’
An ‘Overtime Unit’ field has been added to the Data=>HR=>User Management page. This allows users to enter the length of payable blocks of overtime (in minutes) for each employee. For example, entering 15 minutes will count every complete 15-minute block as payable overtime – working 0-14 minutes will not trigger any payable overtime, whereas 29 minutes would count as 15 minutes of payable overtime. The daily payable overtime for each employee can be viewed on Analysis=>Time & Attendance reports.
3) Merge of Group Job & Group Job Header
The ‘Group Job Header’ has been removed as a separate menu item under Network=> Production and can now be located with the Group Job page as a secondary tab.

- Addition of a log on Network=>Inventory=>Stock=>Stock in & Stock Out
- Addition of UOC field on Network=>Inventory=>Stock
- Addition of Annual Quantity and Annual Net Price fields on Quotations
- Option for Order Type to be mandatory on Quotations
- Where approval is set to be required, quotations can no longer be emailed without first being approved
- Ability to assign a location to a tool when returning it after a job or adding usage history
- Additional fields available for Crystal Reports including: • Email settings for Customers & Customer contacts
- Various template, report & bug fixes
- Addition of NRCs on Debit Notes, Credit Notes & Purchase Invoices – for Indian systems only
- Addition of CGST, SGST & IGST on Credit Notes – for Indian systems only
